Strawberry salad

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 Tbsp
• cream cheese - 8 oz
• pkg - 1 oz
• melted margarine - 3/4 c
• boiling water - 2 c
• pecans - 1 item
• whipped topping - 2 c
• coarsely crushed pretzels

How to make strawberry salad:

Combine pretzels, margarine and sugar and press mixture into 10 x 15-inch ungreased baking dish. Bake 10 minutes at 375°. Cool. Soften cream cheese and mix sugar in. Fold whipped topping into mixture. Spread over pretzels. Chill.

Dissolve strawberry gelatin in water. Add frozen strawberries and stir until melted. Chill. When gelatin is almost set, pour over cream cheese layer. Add pecans on top, if desired. Chill. Serves 24.
