Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- pkg - 2 oz
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 1 item
- whipped topping - 9 oz
- strawberry gelatin
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
Mix pretzels, melted butter and sugar. Spread in pan and bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Beat until smooth cream cheese and sugar, then add whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Chill. Mix gelatin and boiling water. Add strawberries. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate overnight. I put a layer of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle finely chopped pecans on it.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pineapple, Salads.
