Strawberry muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 1/2
- milk - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- carton strawberry yogurt - 8 oz
- strawberries, sliced optional - 1/2 1
How to make strawberry muffins:
Preheat oven to 400°. Sift flour, then measure. Sift dry ingredients together. Pour yogurt into measuring cup and add enough milk to make 1 cup. Combine yogurt, oil and egg with dry ingredients. (Batter should be lumpy.) Add strawberries, if desired. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
