  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 3 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts optional - 1 c
  • salad oil
  • frozen strawberries, thawed and well drained - 3 c

How to make strawberry bread:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. In medium bowl, stir strawberries, eggs and oil. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add berry mixture to dry ingredients and mix just until blended. Pour into pans. Bake 1 hour or until tests done. Makes 2 loaves.

Note: Raspberries may be substituted for strawberries to make raspberry bread!
