Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • salad oil - 1 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • catsup - 1/3 c
  • hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 2 item
  • can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
  • strips bacon, fried and crumbled - 6 item
  • raw spinach
  • medium onion or onion flakes - 1 item
  • can bean sprouts or use fresh sliced mushrooms - 1 item

How to make spinach salad with sweet and sour dressing:

Spinach Salad:1 pkg. raw spinach1 can water chestnuts, sliced1 can bean sprouts or use fresh sliced mushrooms6 strips bacon, fried and crumbled2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced Dressing: Shake well and chill.

Spinach Salad: Toss together first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Top with the sliced eggs.
