Ingredients/Components

  • milk
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • margarine or butter - 1/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • ham or pork roll, cut up in pieces cubes - 1/2 lb
  • cooked potato cubes skinless - 6 c

How to make saucy ham and potato bake:

Saute onion in margarine. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add cheese. Put potatoes and ham or pork roll in casserole and pour cheese sauce over and stir to cover potatoes and meat. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
