Raisin cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• water - 3 c
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• soda - 2 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• raisins - 2 c
• cloves - 1/4 tsp
• lard - 1/2 c

How to make raisin cake:

Boil raisins in water for 10 minutes. Add soda and lard; let cool. Sift flour with salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and baking powder. Beat eggs; add sugar and milk. Add flour and raisin mixture. Cook in tube pan at 350° for an hour or more (until done).
