Pecan sandies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 2 tsp
• chopped nuts
• butter - 1 c
• powdered sugar - 1/3 c
• sifted flour - 2 c

How to make pecan sandies:

Cream butter and sugar. Gradually work flour into creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Form into small balls. Bake on an ungreased sheet in a 325° gas oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
