  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • shortening - 2 Tbsp
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter squares:

Combine butter and peanut butter in a 2-quart glass bowl. Cover with paper towel and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High power. Stir in graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar. Press mixture into an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch dish. Combine chocolate chips and shortening in a 2 cup glass bowl and microwave at Medium power 2 minutes or until chocolate melts. Spread over peanut butter mixture. Chill and cut into squares.
