Overnight yeast waffles
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- warm water - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make overnight yeast waffles:
Scald milk; cool to lukewarm. Put water in large bowl and sprinkle in yeast. Stir until dissolved. Add milk, butter, salt, sugar and flour; mix thoroughly with rotary beater until batter is smooth. Cover and let stand at room temperature overnight. When ready to bake, add eggs and soda. Beat well. Cook on waffle iron.Recipe categories: Pancakes and waffles, Breakfast, > 1 day.
