Orange cream salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- orange juice - 2 Tbsp
- grated orange rind - 2 tsp
- boiling liquid - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained reserve juice - 1 oz
- can mandarin oranges, well drained discard syrup - 1 oz
How to make orange cream salad:
Dissolve jello in boiling liquid (the reserved pineapple juice and water). Set aside. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add evaporated milk and beat well. Slowly stir milk mixture into gelatin. Stir in rind and orange juice. Add pineapple and mandarin oranges. Pour into 6 cup mold which has been lightly brushed with oil.
