  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • raisins - 1 c
  • oatmeal - 2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item

How to make oatmeal cookie:

Cream together butter, margarine and sugar. Add beaten egg. Sift together flour, salt and soda and add to mixture. Add oatmeal, raisins and vanilla. Bake at 350° for exactly 8 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
