Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • flour
  • coconut
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • nuts
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • box powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • jar marshmallow cream - 1 item
  • sticks melted butter - 2 item

How to make mud cake:

Cream 2 sticks melted butter, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well. Add flour, coconut and nuts. Pour into 9 x 13 greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven promptly. While hot, spread marshmallow cream on top of baked cake. Let cool before frosting.

Frosting for Mud Cake is mixing powdered sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, milk, 1 stick butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cream, then beat until smooth and creamy. Spread over cake.
