Mostaccioli salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- white vinegar
- Dijon style mustard - 2 tsp
- chopped pimento, drained - 1 can
- mostaccioli, cooked and drained - 1 box
- bunch green onions with tops, chopped - 1 item
- medium cucumber, unpeeled, chopped - 1 item
How to make mostaccioli salad:
In a large bowl (4 quart size), coat mostaccioli with oil. Drain off excess. In a small bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, mustard, pimento, parsley, onion and cucumber. Mix with mostaccioli. Cover and refrigerate for 2 or 3 days, stirring occasionally.Note: Salad will keep in refrigerator at least a week after it is ready to serve.
