Monkey bread
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- 1 stick butter - 1/2 c
- nuts pecans or walnuts - 1/2 c
- 3 cans flaky biscuits - 10 oz
How to make monkey bread:
Use Bundt pan and spray Pam cooking spray in bottom and sides of pan before cooking. Heat oven to 350°. Put some of the nuts in bottom of pan. Quarter each can of biscuits and roll in mixture of white sugar and cinnamon. Drop, do not press, biscuits down in pan until you have finished each can, mixing nuts throughout the layers. Melt butter and brown sugar together in small saucepan, approximately 5 minutes, then pour immediately over biscuits in pan. Cook for 40 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, then invert onto plate.Recipe categories: Low protein, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
