Molasses cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• flour - 4 5
• baking soda - 4 tsp
• vegetable oil - 1 c
• molasses - 1 c
• cream of tartar - 2 tsp
• hot coffee - 1 c
• salt, ginger, cinnamon and cloves - 1 tsp

How to make molasses cookies:

Dissolve cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon and cloves in coffee. Add all ingredients to coffee mixture. If dough is not stiff enough add more flour. Roll out and cut cookies out. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.
