  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 3/4 c
  • all-purpose flour - 4 c

How to make million dollar pound cake:

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition. Stir in flavoring. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 to 15 minutes; remove to wire rack. Cool.
