Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- semi-sweet chocolate pieces - 6 oz
- sticks butter - 2 item
- marshmallow cream - 1 c
- Milky Way candy bars - 6 item
- Add soda to buttermilk
How to make milky way cake:
Melt candy bars and 1 stick butter on top of double boiler; set aside. Add soda to buttermilk. Cream sugar and remaining butter until thoroughly blended. Alternately add eggs, flour and buttermilk. Stir into melted candy bars and butter. Add pecans. Pour into tube pan and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 325° oven.Milky Way Icing:2 1/2 c. sugar1 c. evaporated milk6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces1 c. marshmallow cream1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla Cook sugar and milk to soft ball stage; stir occasionally to keep from sticking and burning.
