Ingredients/Components

  • garlic powder - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • Italian seasoning
  • tomato juice - 1 qt
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • large onion, diced - 1 item
  • pepperoni
  • ground chuck
  • small can Parmesan cheese - 1 item
  • small container small curd cottage cheese - 1 item
  • box lasagna noodles, cooked - 1 oz

How to make lasagna:

Brown meat and onion. Drain. Add tomato juice, tomato paste, seasonings and pepperoni. Cook over medium heat until thick. Boil noodles while this thickens. Drain and add cold water to noodles to prevent them from sticking together. Drain again.

Spread a thin layer of the thick sauce on the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan. Now, lay a layer of noodles on the sauce. Spoon a thin layer of cottage cheese on the noodles, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Now, add more sauce on top of this. Now, sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Repeat these layers until you use all sauce and cheeses. Save some Mozzarella cheese to put on top after you bake it for 20 to 25 minutes at 400°. Now, put remaining Mozzarella cheese on top and brown.
