Ingredients/Components
- can sliced pineapple - 1 item
- pecans optional - 1 c
- can apricots - 1 item
- can cherries - 1 item
- can peach halves - 1 item
- can medium pear halves - 1 item
How to make hot fruit compote:
Arrange fruit in a long casserole dish using enough liquid to cover. Dot with butter or margarine. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake 30 minutes at 350°, uncovered. Syrup will thicken. Serve in chafing dish, if desired.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Side dish.
