Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
- to 4 eggs - 3 item
- buttermilk * - 1 c
- store bought vanilla icing, heated for glaze - 1 item
How to make honey bun cake:
*Buttermilk: One cup sweet milk mixed with 1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice added to it; let stand 5 minutes.Mix the first 4 ingredients until smooth. Pour into oblong pan.
In small mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Swirl mixture through cake. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Remove from oven. Pour heated glaze on cake.
