- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- carrot, shredded - 1 item
- medium head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
How to make freezer coleslaw:
In large bowl combine vegetables with salt; let stand 1 hour. Place remaining ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil and then boil for 1 minute. Cool. Drain vegetables and add to vinegar. Mix stir gently. Ladle into plastic freezer containers and freeze. When ready, defrost and serve.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Picnic.
