  • pkg - 1 oz
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • quick oats - 1 c
  • Rice Krispies cereal
  • toasted sesame seed - 1/2 c
  • butter 1/2 stick - 1/4 c
  • peanuts, halved - 1/2 c

How to make energy bars:

Grease 9 x 13-inch pan. In large frying pan, combine cereal, oats and sesame seed. Toast over medium heat for a few minutes until crisp, stirring constantly.

In large pan, combine butter and peanut butter. Melt over low heat, then add marshmallows and cook until melted. Stir in cereal mixture, peanuts and raisins; mix well. Press firmly into pan using waxed paper. Cut into bars when slightly warm.

To cut: Divide into strips in pan and remove 1 strip at a time onto cutting board and slice into bars.
