  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla
  • all-purpose flour, sifted - 3 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • diced bananas - 2 c
  • can pineapple with juice - 1 oz

How to make dr. bird cake:

Combine dry ingredients and sift; mix well. Do not beat. In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add bananas and pineapple and the rest of the ingredients; use pecans, if desired. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
