  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 1 c
  • cocoa
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • large eggs - 5 item
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • plain flour 1 1/2 c - 3 c

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Mix ingredients together. Sift flour and sugar 3 times. You can add 2 teaspoons boiling water for a creamier texture. Bake at 300° for 2 hours.
