Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 1/2
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- nutmeg optional - 1/4 tsp
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make custard pie:
Combine eggs, sugar, salt, milk and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in hot oven at 425° for 25 minutes. Cool.Grandpa Hinkle's favorite dessert!
