Creamed cucumbers
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- onion salt - 1/4 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- dried parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- drops hot pepper sauce - 2 item
- cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced - 5 item
- bunch green onions with tops, chopped - 1 item
How to make creamed cucumbers:
Combine cucumbers and green onions in a large bowl. Cover and let stand for 1 hour. Combine all remaining ingredients and pour over cucumbers and mix well. Refrigerate for several hours. Yields 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Side dish, Vegetables.
