Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 6 oz
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- mashed potatoes - 1/3 c
How to make chocolate easter eggs:
Melt Baker's chocolate in top of double boiler, then set aside to cool. Mix together butter, mashed potatoes, salt and vanilla. Gradually add sugar, then add chocolate. Form into shape of 2 eggs. Melt semi-sweet chocolate in double boiler and cover eggs. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens.Optional: Nuts or coconut may be added inside of eggs.
