How to make chicken cacciatora:

Slowly brown chicken in 1/4 cup hot oil. Remove from skillet. Add onion and garlic to skillet; cook until tender, but not brown. Combine remaining ingredients together, creating sauce. Add chicken to skillet and pour sauce over. Cover and let simmer for 45 minutes. Cook, uncovered, turning chicken occasionally, for another 20 minutes or until chicken is tender and sauce is thick. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
