Cabbage salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- dry mustard
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- head cabbage - 1 item
- red onion - 1 item
- bag shredded carrots - 1 item
How to make cabbage salad:
Part B:1/4 tsp. dry mustard1 c. vinegar1 c. oil1 c. sugar1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper Part A: Cut up cabbage, onions and carrots; toss together with sugar.Part B: Bring the rest of the ingredients to a boil; turn off and let set for 5 minutes. Pour mixture over cabbage in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Put in refrigerator over a 2 hour period.
