Cabbage salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- red wine vinegar - 1/2 c
- sesame seed - 1/2 c
- chopped almonds - 1/2 c
- bunch green onions - 1 item
- small head red cabbage - 1 item
- small head green cabbage - 1 item
- dry Ramen Oriental noodle soup - 2 pkg
- flavor packets from Ramen Oriental noodle soup - 2 pkg
How to make cabbage salad:
Chop cabbage and onion; place in large salad bowl. Crush dry noodles and combine with seeds and almonds on baking sheet. Broil until lightly browned. Add to cabbage.For dressing, combine oil, sugar, vinegar and flavor packets. Whisk and toss with salad. Serves 20.
This salad is good when served the same day as made. Does not store well.
