Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 5 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- white syrup - 1 tsp
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make buttermilk coffee cake:
Topping:1 c. sugar1/2 c. buttermilk3 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. white syrup1 tsp. vanilla1/2 tsp. soda Mix the first 6 ingredients on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add pecans. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in small bowl. Place 1/3 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle 1/3 of brown sugar mixture over top; layer these items until batter is on top. Bake for 1 hour at 300°.Topping: Mix all ingredients together in saucepan; boil for 3 minutes. Punch holes in hot cake with fork; pour sauce over cake.
