  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • sweetened whipped cream - 1 item
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • fine chocolate wafer crumbs - 3/4 c

How to make brownie pie:

Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in crumbs, nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly in lightly buttered 9-inch pie plate. Bake in slow oven (325°) for about 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Spread top with sweetened whipped cream and chill well, 3 to 4 hours. Trim with curls of shaved, unsweetened chocolate.
