Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- water - 3/4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- sliced onion - 1/2 c
- stew beef - 2 lb
- can mushrooms and juice - 1 oz
How to make beef stroganoff:
Pound flour into beef. Cut into 2-inch squares long and 1/2-inch wide. Melt butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in skillet. Add beef and brown slowly. Add water, sliced onions and mushrooms. Cook until beef is tender. Add sour cream before serving while warm. Serve on rice, bread or rolls.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
