Ingredients/Components
- vanilla wafer crumbs - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- large Cool Whip - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- stick melted oleo - 1 item
- sliced bananas - 3 item
- Filling:3 egg whites
- Topping:1 large can crushed pineapple, well drained
How to make banana split cake:
Filling:3 egg whites1 stick melted oleo2 c. powdered sugar Topping:1 large can crushed pineapple, well drained3 sliced bananas1 large Cool Whip Crust: Mix together wafer crumbs, powdered sugar and 1 stick oleo. Press mixture into a 9 x 13-inch dish.Filling: Beat egg whites 10 minutes. Add to this the 1 stick melted oleo and 2 cups powdered sugar. Pour over crust.
Topping: Add pineapple and bananas. Spread the fruit evenly over egg white mixture. Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped nuts and cherries. Refrigerate. Keeps several days.
