Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 3 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- mashed bananas - 1 c
How to make banana nut bread:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together and mix with butter mixture. Add mashed bananas and vanilla, mix well. Add buttermilk and nuts and stir well. Pour in 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch lightly greased loaf pan and bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
