Artichoke salad
Ingredients/Components
- chicken Rice-A-Roni - 1 pkg
- jar marinated artichoke hearts - 1 item
- sweet onion - 1 item
- green olives about 15
- mayonnaise - 1/3 1/2
- curry powder - 1 tsp
- slivered almonds
How to make artichoke salad:
Prepare the Rice-A-Roni, omitting the butter. Slice the onion very thinly and separate into rings. Thinly slice the olives. Slice/shred the artichoke hearts, reserving the juice. Add sliced vegetables to the rice mixture.Mix mayonnaise, marinade juice and curry powder together. Pour over the rice mixture and stir until well blended. Sprinkle the slivered almonds over the top. Salad can be served hot or cold.
