Winter fruit salad
Ingredients/Components
- sliced strawberries - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1 2
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- sliced bananas - 2 item
- can pineapple chunks in juice - 1 oz
- ripe kiwi, peeled and sliced - 2 item
- pitted dates, quartered lengthwise - 3/4 c
How to make winter fruit salad:
In glass measuring cup, drain juice from pineapple. Combine 1/4 cup juice with honey and lemon juice to taste in a large bowl. Add pineapple chunks, kiwi, berries and dates to bowl. Mix lightly to coat. Cover and chill for an hour. Add bananas before serving. Toss lightly. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
