Vanilla butternut pound cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs - 5 item
- canned milk - 3/4 c
- water - 1/4 c
- sifted flour
- butternut flavoring - 2 Tbsp
How to make vanilla butternut pound cake:
Cream first 4 ingredients together. Add eggs, beating well. Add flour alternating with milk. Fold in the flavoring until well blended. Start to bake in a cold oven. Set temperature at 325°. Bake for 1 3/4 hours. (Fills a large tube cake pan.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
