Taco salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- chopped green chilies - 1 Tbsp
- tomatoes, diced - 2 item
- sliced ripe olives - 1/2 item
- head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces - 1 item
- 300 can kidney beans
How to make taco salad:
Cook ground beef until done, stirring to break up into small pieces. Drain well on paper towels. Salt and pepper lightly. Allow to cool. Combine beef, drained beans, onion, chilies, tomatoes and olives. Put lettuce in a large bowl and top with beef-been mixture. Sprinkle on 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated and 1 bag taco chips, crumbled. Pour an 8 ounce bottle Russian dressing over all and toss well. Serve at once.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
