  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • tortilla chips - 1 item
  • lettuce - 1 item
  • tomato - 1 item
  • shredded cheese - 1 item
  • taco sauce - 1 item
  • taco mix - 1 pkg
  • Zesty Italian dressing - 1 item

How to make taco salad:

Brown ground beef; drain. Add package of taco seasoning mix and about half of taco sauce. Simmer. Put tortilla chips on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, then ground beef mixture. Layer cheese on meat. Then add lettuce, onion and tomato. Mix remaining taco sauce and 1/2 of bottle of Zesty Italian dressing and pour over salad.
