Sweet bread

Ingredients/Components

• flour - 2 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• sugar - 1/2 c
• soft shortening - 1/3 c
• buttermilk - 1/3 1/2

How to make sweet bread:

Mix flour, baking soda and sugar. Cut in the shortening. Add enough buttermilk to make a soft dough. Pinch off dough in pieces the size of a baseball. Shape into biscuits. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly brown and center
