  • butter, softened - 1/2 c
  • Cool Whip - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • Philadelphia cream cheese - 1 (6
  • strawberry jello - 1 pkg
  • can condensed milk - 1 item
  • box vanilla wafers - 1 item
  • strawberries to garnish - 1 item

How to make strawberry surprise:

In medium size pan, crush vanilla wafers. Melt butter and pour over wafers to soften. In mixing bowl mix together cream cheese, lemon juice and milk until cheese is smooth. Pour over crushed vanilla wafers. Chill until cheese is firm. Mix jello according to package and pour over firm cheese mixture. Chill again until jello firms. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with strawberries.

Other fruit may be substituted, but be sure to match jello for flavor.
