Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- white cake mix - 1 pkg
- stick oleo - 1 item
- strawberries
- frozen strawberries - 1/2 pkg
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- strawberry Jell-O - 1 pkg
How to make strawberry cake:
Icing:1/2 pkg. strawberries1 stick oleo1 box confectioners sugar Cake: Separate eggs; beat egg whites until stiff. Dissolve Jell-O in 1/2 cup water; add egg yolks and Wesson oil. Add cake mix and vanilla; beat well. Fold in egg whites and 1/2 package strawberries with juice. Bake in a 350° oven for 25 minutes. This will make three 8-inch layers.Icing: Beat all ingredients together. Divide into thirds, using 1/3 on each layer as you put the cake together.
