Strawberry nut salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 2 oz
- sour cream - 1 pt
- boiling water - 1 c
- large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- strawberry jello
- bananas, mashed - 3 item
How to make strawberry nut salad:
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Fold in strawberries, nuts, bananas and pineapple. Put 1/2 of mixture (approximately 3 cups) in a large bowl and chill 2 1/2 hours. Leave other 1/2 at room temperature. Spread sour cream over the chilled mixture and the remaining mixture over sour cream.
