  • pkg - 2 oz
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • strawberry jello
  • medium bananas, mashed - 3 item
  • pecans, chopped coarse - 1 c

How to make strawberry nut salad:

Mix the jello and water until dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients, except the sour cream. Chill 1/2 of this mixture for 1 1/2 hours. Leave the other 1/2 out at room temperature. Spread refrigerated mixture with sour cream. Chill 15 minutes. Top with other 1/2 of mixture. Chill 2 hours.
