Strawberry bread

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• pkg - 2 oz
• salt - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• all-purpose flour - 3 c
• cooking oil
• eggs, well beaten - 4 item
• ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
• Thaw strawberries and reserve 1/2 cup juice for making filling

How to make strawberry bread:

Preheat oven to 350°. Thaw strawberries and reserve 1/2 cup juice for making filling. Mix flour, soda, cinnamon, sugar and salt. Make a well in center of mixture. Pour strawberries, oil and eggs into the hole. Mix by hand until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Stir in chopped nuts. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans. Bake 45 to 60 minutes.Filling:1/2 c. strawberry juice1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese Process strawberry juice and cheese in blender until spreading consistency.
