Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vegetable oil
  • cider vinegar - 1/4 c
  • poppy seed - 1 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • fresh strawberries - 1 pt
  • dash of onion powder - 1 item
  • spinach - 1 pkg
  • almonds, slivered optional - 1/2 c

How to make spinach and strawberry salad:

Dressing:1/2 c. vegetable oil1/4 c. cider vinegar1/2 c. sugar1 Tbsp. poppy seed1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 tsp. paprika dash of onion powder Wash, drain and break spinach into small pieces. Wash and slice berries. Toss together and refrigerate.

Mix dressing in blender and refrigerate until serving. At serving time, blend dressing again and add to salad. If almonds are used, add at serving. Serves 6 to 8.
