- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 2/3 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda
- buttermilk - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- box raisins, cooked and drained - 1 oz
- enough flour to make a medium stiff batter - 1 item
How to make raisin cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat. Add raisins, spices and vanilla; mix. Add buttermilk, soda and flour; mix well. Add little flour at a time to make a medium stiff batter. Bake 50 minutes. Baking time depends on oven.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
