  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 2/3 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • box raisins, cooked and drained - 1 oz
  • enough flour to make a medium stiff batter - 1 item

How to make raisin cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat. Add raisins, spices and vanilla; mix. Add buttermilk, soda and flour; mix well. Add little flour at a time to make a medium stiff batter. Bake 50 minutes. Baking time depends on oven.
