  • plain flour - 2 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
  • stick margarine or cream cheese - 1/2 item

How to make peanut butter pound cake:

Cream together peanut butter, Crisco oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add milk and flour, mixing well. Take out 1 1/2 cups of batter and add cocoa, mixing well. Pour other batter in a greased and floured tube pan. Pour cocoa batter on top and swirl through it several times. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Peanut Butter Frosting:1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. peanut butter1/2 stick margarine or cream cheese2 Tbsp. cocoa Mix together, adding a little milk until right for spreading.
