- milk - 1 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- cocoa
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
- stick margarine or cream cheese - 1/2 item
How to make peanut butter pound cake:
Cream together peanut butter, Crisco oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add milk and flour, mixing well. Take out 1 1/2 cups of batter and add cocoa, mixing well. Pour other batter in a greased and floured tube pan. Pour cocoa batter on top and swirl through it several times.
